Qualcomm today announced its initial shareholders that will take forward its LTE plans in India. Qualcomm who won the Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) spectrum in four circles have announced that Global Holding Corp. and Tulip Telecom will be its joint shareholders for LTE business in India. Qualcomm will hold a 74 percent stake in the venture whereas both the other companies will hold 13 percent each.
Qualcomm and its shareholders will work towards demonstrating and commercializing LTE in India.
