No contractual obligations do however, come at a price. CBC News who have got the unlocked iPhone 4 pricing claim the 16/32GB iPhone 4 will go for CA$659 and CA$779 respectively and 8GB iPhone 3GS for CA$549.
For those who feel this one time buy is a little steep, they can always choose to sign up a contract and buy it at a discounted price.
