That didn’t take much time. After releasing the beta to developers, Apple has released the iOS 4.1 update for mass consumption. iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G users can plug in the device to find the new update in iTunes. The update will make network bars look bigger and have a new way to compute signal strength. However, the beta report suggests that the software update does not solve the network reception issue.
As for iPad owners, you get v3.2.1 that adds and improves few things like the improved Wi-Fi connectivity, Bing search option in Safari, reworked PDF attachment in Mail, improved video playback and video-out when using iPad Dock Connector to VGA adapter.
