Microsoft IE 9 Platform Preview 3 now available

Microsoft has released third update of its IE9 Platform Preview. The Platform Preview gives you a glimpse of what’s coming to the latest iteration of Microsoft’s browser.

Microsoft has added some new features in this update like the new Javascript engine known as Chakra, HTML5 with Canvas elements and the use of GPU-acceleration for video, audio and Canvas elements. Also, the new IE9 PP supports Web Open Font Format (WOFF) through CSS3 font face. The WOFF allows a smooth, crisp rendering of the font across all zoom levels.
