Western Digital’s WD TV Live has become the first network-based media player to earn the ‘Compatible with Windows 7’ certificate. The compliance comes with a newly added Play To feature found in Windows 7. With Play To, users can stream content to the player from their Windows 7 PC within Windows Media Player 12.
There’s a new firmware update waiting for current WD TV Live owners to take advantage of the new feature.
