ICD literally upped the tablet competition by unveiling Gemini yesterday. Now, UK-based Stuff has managed to get their mitts on the tablet and they’re highly impressed with what Gemini has to offer. Stuff went hands-on with a resistive touchscreen display that was sluggish but says ICD will have a capacitive display option up at launch.
Nvidia Tegra 2 and 512MB under the hood enables efficient playback of high definition videos and fast and smooth web browsing. However, one information that was different from yesterday was the camera – the prototype came fitted with a 1.3MP camera on the front instead of 2MP. Overall, Stuff reckons Gemini has all the right things to beat iPad and maybe few other tablets that are due in the market soon.
ICD expects a 3G-equipped Gemini to make its way in UK in August.
