Aircel seems to be on a roll these days. After bringing Peek to India, they’ll be selling INQ’s Mini 3G and Chat 3G phones. The phones are manufactured by UK’s INQ Mobiles and cater to users seeking social networking features in phones at an affordable price.
Samsung’s Corby and LG’s Cookie range cater to the same set of crowd and since they’re faring well, INQ has a better chance to sell if they (and Aircel) market it right.
The INQ Mini 3G is a regular candybar phone whereas Chat 3G sports a full QWERTY keyboard. Both the phones support 3G and comes with Facebook, Twitter clients and other social networks that integrate with the user’s phonebook.
