Sony announces new Home Theatre Systems in India

Sony has updated its DAV DZ Home Theatre range with four new models. Apart from giving astounding sound quality, the new models come with few more features that are worth boasting about.

The DAV DZ series now come with USB Play, Audio Return Channel and DVD Upscale function. The USB Play feature allows users to plug in their USB drives and enjoy songs and videos as well as record FM Radio onto the device with the integrated ripping function.

The Audio Return Channel enables the TV to send audio data directly to the home theater with a single HDMI cable without the need for extra cables.

And finally, the new range comes with DVD upscale function that claims to convert regular SD (480) signal to a full HD equivalent signal, even on a standard definition input.

The systems will be available from Feb 25 for:

DAV DZ810 – Rs. 29,990
DAV DZ610 – Rs. 24,990
DAV DZ510 – Rs. 19,990
DAV DZ310 – Rs. 16,990
