iPhone gets SD card slot with Zoomit addon

iPhone and iPod touch users will soon be able to view and share content stored in SD cards. ZoomMediaPlus has unveiled a new accessory that tends to give iPhone/iPod touch a detachable SD card slot.

Zoomit’s accessory is basically a SD card reader that goes into the data/charging port of the device. The contents of the SD card is then detected by the iPhone with the help of a free app that allows to do almost everything you would do from a file stored on iPhone.

A user can watch videos, share and view photos, listen to music, share and view office files or even move files from the iPhone storage to the card.

The Zoomit SD Card will arrive in April carrying a price tag of $59.95. However, you can pre-order it right now and get it for $49.95.
