MSI shared few more details about its dual-screen netbook concepts, which we saw at CES this month. In an interview with Laptop, President of MSI, Joseph Hsu and Andy Tung, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MSI North America confirmed that they’re looking to launch the 10-inch dual-screen netbook sometime in the second half of this year. However, the interesting part is that the concept was running on Windows 7 but MSI is also thinking to release the netbook with Chrome OS, mostly as a variant. MSI claims internal testing gave the netbook about 4-5 hours of battery life.
The interview also speaks about MSI’s smartphone plans, future of netbooks and more.
