We’ve seen a lot of dissections before but it’s a rare sight seeing a teardown of an unreleased (yet confirmed) product. Dell teased us with the Mini 5 aka Streak MID at the CES and now thanks to this teardown from the Vietnamese site, we know few more important details. The innards consist of Qualcomm’s fast 1GHz Snapdragon processor driving the machine along with Wi-Fi, 3G modem and SIM card slot. Interestingly, two microSD card slots were also present, which Slashgear reckons one will be used internally for onboard storage and the other one will be user expandable. There’s also a capacious 1530mAh battery found but it’s difficult to tell the expected run time right now.
Dell had confirmed the tablet to be sold on AT&T but did not divulge its tentative price.
