Samsung Pine Trail netbook

Samsung’s leaked netbooks have got the official acknowledgement and will be seen at the CES this week. The N210 & N220 are similar in specs and design, except for the Black and White colors for N210 and Green and Red for N220. Equipped with Samsung’s battery optimization technology dubbed as Enhanced Battery Life, both the netbooks are capable to have a battery life of up to 12 hours. The N210/N20 specs include N450 Intel Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, 160 or 250GB HDD, HyperSpace instant OS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, webcam, optional 3G and even WiBRO.

Samsung also announced N150, targeting the trendy and colorful seeking crowd, touchscreen enabled NB30 and Moblin-based N127.

Although N150 boasts battery life much lesser than N210 & N220, N150 comes in variety of colors, including few Corby-like colors. It also features the N450 Atom CPU and has an integrated hinge that makes the screen blend in with the netbook seamlessly.

NB30 is inclined more towards businesses due to its touchscreen display, an 11-hour battery life and other useful features like HDD freefall sensor, water resistant (up to 50cc).

Finally, the N127 is said to be the world’s first Moblin OS based netbook and will be released in India and Russia.

Rest of the netbooks will be released this month in most countries.
