China is the world’s biggest telecom market and with China Mobile pocketing world’s largest number of subscribers, it is obvious that more and more companies want to be a part of it. Nokia thinks the same, which is why they’ve rolled out 6788 slider phone packing China’s homegrown 3G TD-SCDMA connectivity.
The phone runs S60 and comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 5MP Carl Zeiss optics with dual LED flash and 4GB internal memory.
The 6788 has been made specifically keeping Chinese consumers in mind, including the phone’s design that takes cues from Chinese architecture and traditional furniture.
6788 will go on sale in December at an unknown price.
