Next-gen Flip MinoHD announced – twice the memory, larger screen

Cisco (who acquired Pure Digital) today announced the second generation of Flip MinoHD. The premium Flip MinoHD now sports a new design with brushed metal finish, 8GB internal memory allowing to record for up to 2 hours and 2-inch screen. It can record at 1280×720 resolution and features a FlipShare software that allows instant upload to Facebook, YouTube and Myspace.

The new Flip MinoHD will sell for $229 while the original and the standard Flip MinoHD goes for $199 and $149 respectively.
