On the face of it, Acer’s new Aspire 5738PG looks like any other notebook but the distinguishing factor is the integration of a touchscreen display. The display supports multi-touch inputs like pinch or flick and is said to improve usability because of the enhanced touchscreen support in Windows 7.
Starting from $799.99, the Aspire 5738PG brings a 15.6-inch screen (16:9, 1366×768), 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T6600 CPU, 4GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4570 GPU, 320GB HDD, Wi-Fi, HDMI and USB ports, webcam and 6-cell battery. The notebook will be released on October 22.

Cool. I’m concerned that the screen would be full of nasty fingerprints with the touch screen display thing.. too sensitive.
