At a press event today, Bose unveiled the newest addition to its SoundDock family. The SoundDock 10 is a nifty dock that not only supports iPods and iPhone, it also brings in support for auxiliary input to connect different music players as well as a Bluetooth dock to play music from any Bluetooth enabled device. And yes, there’s a video-out too, to play videos from the iPod to a larger screen.
The SoundDock is equipped with Bose’s proprietary waveguide tech, Twiddler transducers and custom subwoofer to give an unmatched audio quality. Bose gave us a brief ears-on in a 650-700 sq. ft. room and SoundDock 10 did justify all the technologies underneath.
But as they say, quality comes at a price, this one’s pricey too. The SoundDock 10 will sell for Rs. 40,388 while the Bluetooth dock will be available from mid-October for Rs. 8,888.
