Looks like Nokia will make 8800 and its different incarnations a thing of the past. A new phone has been leaked that is claimed to take the reigns from 8800 to lead the high-end luxury segment for Nokia. Known as Erdos, the “engineering masterpiece” again adopts the slider form factor but the uniqueness comes with the fact that it has a rising keypad, which rises up to match the height of the display. The phone will come in polished stainless steel finish with scratch resistant 2.4-inch OLED display, AGPS, Wi-Fi, HSPA, 5MP Carl Zeiss optics with dual LED flash, 8GB internal memory (no external memory support) and tri-band GSM support (GSM 900/1800/1900).
The phone is expected to get the official treatment this October.
