Lenovo mulling multi-touch, OLED screens for ThinkPads and a CULV based X300

Hot on the heels of T400s’ launch, Lenovo shared few interesting tidbits about the future of ThinkPad notebooks and provide advanced technologies to the business users who demand more. First interesting mention is of the slimmer T500 model. Not only Lenovo will make the 15-incher slim but if there is an adequate demand for OLED screens, they might integrate that too. Lenovo also confirmed to use multi-touch screens on future ThinkPads but did not specify if existing ThinkPad models will get an upgrade or new models will be launched.

Finally, Lenovo is also planning a CULV variant of ThinkPad X300 that will help to prolong battery life as well as cut energy usage.
