Microsoft has confirmed that the new Xbox 360 Arcade consoles do come with 512MB storage. Though acknowledging the fact that the console software also uses the included memory, they are giving it so as to enable users to “enjoy more experiences on Xbox LIVE” at the same price. Microsoft however, has not divulged if this move is region specific or will affect all the Xbox markets.
The news initially broke out when an Xbox-Scene forum member ripped apart his Japanese Xbox 360 SKU to find a 4Gbit NAND, which is equivalent to 512MB.
