RIM has officially announced the Blackberry Tour 9630, a crossover of Bold 9000 and Curve 8900. Despite the similar resemblance to other Blackberry phones, this one is a World Phone that supports global GSM and CDMA 3G networks, a nifty feature for business users. Amongst other things, it has full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, 3.2MP autofocus camera with flash, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, 256MB flash memory and external memory expandable with microSD cards up to 16GB.
Sprint and Verizon will be the official carriers in US while Telus and Bell will do the same in Canada.
Sprint has set the price to $199.99 with a contract and mail-in rebates.
