We all knew Vaio P’s processor was not competent to handle Vista and thankfully, Sony has realized it too. They are now offering Vaio P50 and P61 with Windows XP Home Edition onboard. Starting at a price of 67,800 Yen ($714), a user gets a high res 1024×768 pixel 8-inch screen, Atom Z520 (1.33GHz) processor, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, 2 USB 2.0 ports, card reader, Wi-Fi, WAN, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a battery life of up to 4 hours. Customers can also upgrade their processors to Atom Z550 (2GHz) or add a 256GB SSD. It will start selling from June 6 in Japan.
