Motorola’s tale of Calagry, Ironman and Rolex phones

April 30, 2009 By Kinjal Sangoi 2 Comments

Motorola Calagry Android phone

The ailing Motorola is all gearing up for its revival. BGR sources have spilled a bit too much about the future handset developments. Apparently, we have got couple of Android phones, a high-class Aura like phone in the offing and two phones canned from the portfolio. So here it goes.

A horizontal QWERTY slider dubbed as Calgary will be Motorola’s first Android phone which will arrive on Verizon on Q2. Other specific details about the phone are next to none but going by the picture, the phone looks impressive with its RAZR like keyboard.

Motorola Ironman Android phone

Another Moto Android phone goes by the name of Ironman (pictured above). Well, there is not a single nuance of the comic character but it can surely be one of the devices to rescue Moto from the current mess. It will be a sliding QWERTY phone with a touchscreen display and feature every bell and whistle found in today’s phones.

In addition to the Android duo, Motorola is also preparing to lure the niche uber rich crowd with Rolex. It is said to be on the lines of Aura and will have the same circular-esque screen, hardened glass and much more.

And lastly about the canned phones. Moto seems to have canceled the development of Flash and Inferno phones in search of greener pastures, which in their case looks to be the Android platform.
