Seagate has introduced SV35.5 HDDs that are meant for rigorous use, making it an apt choice for video surveillance systems. The 7200RPM drives come in storage capacities of up to 1TB and are able to sustain 140MB/s sequential data rates, assuring the steadfastness and the performance of digital video surveillance systems.

Other things that make these HDDs more worthy than the average ones are the ATA-7 streaming for high-speed transfers, enhanced caching, built-in error recovery, thermal monitoring, low spin-up power, and the finest acoustics.
