This proof of concept by Nvidia is another evidence that they want to barge into Intel’s territory. Yes, Nvidia has Ion to take care of netbooks but when Tegra SoCs can work on netbooks, you know, the Tegra integration possibilities are endless.
At the CTIA, Nvidia replaced an Atom chip with its Tegra processor in HP Mini and ran a Windows CE build perfectly. Not to forget the Tegra SoCs are able to display HD content via HDMI out as well as render 3D content.
