BusinessWeek has spilled the beans regarding the impending launch of RIM’s Blackberry App World. According to them, April 1 which also happens to be the first day of CTIA is the destined date where the floodgates will be thrown open for Blackberry users to delve in the world of apps, presumably quality ones.
RIM is said to take on Apple’s App Store by luring its developers with a better cut from the sale of apps. RIM will give 80% of share to devs while Apple currently gives only 70%.
The paid software from RIM’s store start from $2.99 while Apple’s start from 99¢.
