Windows 7 pricing surfaces

Alright, this is not official but German website, Windows Secrets claims to have got their hands on prices of Windows 7 variants. The pricing starts from $199.95 for the Starter Edition and goes up to $319.95 for Ultimate. The Starter Edition which is aimed at netbook users will be available worldwide via OEM partners only. Home Basic’s price is not revealed since the prices leaked seem to be related to US and Home Basic will be released in emerging markets only.

Windows 7 Home Premium: $259.95
Windows 7 Professional: $299.95
Windows 7 Ultimate: $319.95
Windows 7 Enterprise: Unknown
