Corsair is the latest entrant in the crowded SSD market. Its first and only offering S128 gives 128GB of storage space and boasts a read/write speed of 90/70 MB/s. The drives use Samsung’s controllers as opposed to ubiquitous JMicron 602 controller. The inclusion of Samsung controllers could prove a boon to Corsair since Samsung controllers have been found faster than JMicron 602. However, with performance comes price. These SSDs will cost a bit more than the usual 128GB SSDs. It can preordered at Scan for £298 ($404).
