Asus recently announced F50 and F70 range of notebooks. The F50 series is touted to be the world’s slimmest and lightest 16-inch notebooks while F70 has a 17.3-inch display which is the world’s first 17-incher to have a 16:9 aspect ratio for cinematic veiwing. The F50 will sell in two variants – one with Intel processor and integrated Nvidia GeForce 9400M GPU and the other one with an AMD processor coupled with ATI graphics. There’s support for RAM up to 4GB, up to 500GB HDD, Blu-ray, LAN, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), optional Bluetooth and 1.3MP webcam.
F70 on the other hand is an Intel only notebook with a chipset from SiS. The RAM can be maxed up to 4GB, dual HDD bays for 1TB of storage, Blu-ray combo, Ethernet, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), optional 1.3MP webcam and Bluetooth.
