Acer’s already ruling the netbook market and their game plan for further penetration is a larger sized Aspire One. The images you’re looking are of a 10.1-inch Aspire One and CES is the likely place for this baby to officially declare the successor of the highest selling netbook. There are not many changes in the specifications, but there will be no storage expansion slot and HDD and Linux combo option. Multicard reader will be placed for the expansion slot and only a single DIMM slot for RAM (up to 2GB). 3G, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR will form a part of the optional configuration.
Acer will also give a minor facelift to the successor. There will be a newly designed laptop hinge and a brushed metal finish around the keyboard. The trackpad mouse buttons will now be placed at the bottom.
