Nokia finally announced a cheaper, twin brother of its one of the best selling E-Series phone, E71. Nokia E63 has almost every feature present in E71 but is stripped down keeping the price in mind. The chassis is now fully made of plastic as compared to the metal of E71. It has also got Wi-Fi, microSD card support (up to 8GB), 3.5mm audio jack and even 1GB of online storage for the Files on Ovi service.
The things removed or scaled down in this phone is dual-band UMTS and no HSDPA, no GPS or Infrared and a camera with a fixed focus 2 megapixel lens. Nokia will be selling this phone by end of this year for $250 before taxes.
