Hop-on has taken their iPhone hatred one step further. They have issued a press release saying that their Android powered is in the making and will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January next year. The phone details are unknown except for the fact that it will be available under $200.
With Android phone under its portfolio, Hop-on claims to make themselves reliable and competitive as other handset manufacturers.
Open Handset Alliance recently made the source code of Android available for free. With such a move, it was obvious that many small handset manufacturers like Hop-on will try to jump on the Android bandwagon to make some quick money. Let us see how it turns out to be.
