If Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) claims turn out to be true, the Australian passengers may face a hard time to fiddle with gadgets while flying. Recently, an Australia bound Qantas flight QF72 from Singapore suddenly lost control at an altitude of 37,000 feet and had to rush for an emergency landing. To add more grievance, the plane pitched nose-down 1050ft in 36 seconds injuring 12 people and 30 others requiring medication.
The ATSB is currently investigating in this issue and says that computers or mobile phones of the passengers had to do with the incident. Such device caused an electromagnetic interference which made the pilot to lose control.
The reason really sounds absurd as there have been many flights taken off with these said gadgets. A proper probe is the need of the hour instead of blindly blaming these devices.
