HTC, company behind T-Mobile’s Android enabled G1 has already chalked out the launch plans for different markets. While UK will be getting the phone as early as November, the phone will reach the Indian shores only by January next year. HTC India’s country head Ajay Sharma also confirmed that they are working out possible distribution strategies as well as pricing of the phone and the phone will be priced “significantly higher than Rs. 20,000 ($430)”. In other words, we can expect it to hover around the price of iPhone 3G, after all its existence is because of iPhone only.
