Casio reveals EX-FH20, a high speed compact digital camera capable of taking multiple shots per second. 9.1 is the effective megapixel count with 20X optical zoom. However, it is not the megapixel count which makes it special but the high speed burst capture rate which goes to 40fps for a still image shot at 7 megapixel (3072 x 2304 pixels) or up to 1000fps for video capturing. It is also capable of recording 720p HD video at 30fps. Other features include anti-shake, high speed night scene mode and different burst modes for shooting images and videos at different fps.
The camera will be available from October for a price of $600.
