Samsung’s obsession for slim products has extended to its new line of Blu-Ray players too. The BD-P2500 unveiled at the IFA last week packs a lot of commendable features in the slim housing. The player features a LAN port for easy firmware updates, USB port as well as decent 1GB of internal memory.
For Blu-Ray interactivity, it is BD Live and Bonus View ready and will have Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) chip onboard for excellent picture quality. The audio front forms the support of Dolby, DTS-HD HR and 7.1 channel support. Despite being high on features, the player is expected to be aggressively priced at around $500.
