
With so many netbooks on the rise, Sandisk sees an opportunity to suffice the market with better storage solutions. And here they are at the Computex, unveiling a new type of SSD ie. Parallel ATA Solid State Drive (pSSD). The disk will work on both Windows and Linux and it has a read-write speed of 39-17 MB/s respectively. The pSSD’s seem to be future of the netbooks and will come in storage sizes of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.
