Nokia has announced an eco friendly phone which would delight the environmentalists if not the feature hungry users. At the Nokia World 2007 conference, they showed the 3110 Evolve handset, a remake of 3110 Classic which is made of more than 50% of renewable materials. Apart from the materials used, the packaging consists 60% of recycled content and the charger is touted to be 94% more energy efficient compared to Energy Star’s standards.
