Everex has unveiled a new notebook which will surely satisfy the environmentalists if not the performance hungry users. Its latest offering, StepNote NC1500 is touted as the world’s most energy efficient notebook because of the inclusion of processor from VIA. The processor, C7-M (1.5GHz) consumes not more than 12W of power. The specifications is also mediocre with 15.4″ WXGA display, 512MB RAM and 40 GB HDD. It will be available in US exclusively via Wal-Mart stores at a price of $498. Full specifications after the jump.
