Remember the SE Z610i we reported earlier? Well, its been annouced by Sony Ericsson today. The specs are the same except the TFT screen mentioned earlier is indeed a TFD one with a 2″ screen size, 262k color display. External screen is an OLED one with a resolution of 128×36 pixels.
The phone looks pretty with a mirror like exterior body which KRZR also has but the illuminated external display gives an edge over the latter. It also has a 2 megapixel camera with 2.5X digital zoom for still images, UMTS, video player, music player, Video telephony, HTML browser, RSS feed support, M2 expansion slot (64MB bundled) and Stereo Bluetooth. It is expected to launch in the Q3 of this year in Luster Black, Rose Pink or Airy Blue variants.

The old z600 had an external screen which seems to be gone and the new “glossy” finish won’t stand 3 days un-scrached. Just have a look at my old Z600 here.
