Alcatel has unveiled a new slider phone, the OT E260. It is the first stylish slider phone from the company. It can be termed as a poor man’s slider phone coz it lacks all high end features like camera, bluetooth, USB or MP3 player.
The dual band phone weighs 77 grams, has a 4096 colors CSTN screen, 16-bit polyphonic ringtone and a talk time of up to 10 hours. The phone is expected to hit the stores in the second quarter of 2006 but no word on pricing yet.
