Riya, which is an online photo service and can recognise human faces and tag them with the names . In the past few days, there has been many rumors of Google acquiring Riya which is still in its Alpha Phase. The deal is reportedly valued at $40 million. If this deal happens, Google will be ahead of Yahoo’s Flickr which is just a photo-sharing service.
Riya is founded by a 31 year old Indian, Munjal Shah who is currently based in Silicon Valley.
