HTC today announced two new devices in India – the HTC One (E8) and the Desire 616. The HTC One (E8) is similar to the company’s flagship but loses the premium metal finish and Duo camera for a 13 megapixel one at the rear. The HTC One (E8) comes with a “dual curve deisgn,” BoomSound support, 5-inch Full HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 5 megapixel front-facing camera for better resolution selfies.
The HTC One (E8) also features Motion Launch that detects position and movement of the phone enabling users to interact with the device and will sell by end of July for Rs. 34,900.
The HTC Desire 616 is a dual-SIM smartphone targeted at the mid-range crowd with its Rs. 16,900 price tag. The Desire 616 is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 5-inch 720p HD display.
The Desire 616 will be available from this week.
