There’s no denying Asus has been at the forefront when it comes to innovation. The company gave birth to the netbook category, brought the Transformer range of tablets and now a dual-screen laptop dubbed as Taichi.
The tablet-laptop hybrid tries to give the best of both worlds by featuring two displays, allowing the device to function as a standalone laptop, tablet or a use two screens simultaneously for presentation, movie playing etc.
There’s a dedicated Taichi button that triggers a customized user interface and allows user to select variety of modes.
On the hardware front, the device is equipped with two 13.3-inch full HD 1280×1080 display and features an Intel Core processor, Windows 8, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD.
Asus is currently taking pre-orders of the Taichi notebook in United States but promised to launch the device in India in the coming weeks after the launch of Windows 8 on October 26.
