HTC at a press event in New York announced two new Windows Phones. Running the latest Windows Phone 8, the HTC 8X (above) goes for the high-end market whereas 8S (below) targets the mid-range device. Amongst the common features, both phones boast a unibody design, variety of color options and Beats audio.
On the hardware front, the 8X boasts features a 4.3-inch HD Super LCD2 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear-facing camera with full HD video recording and a unique 2.1MP front-facing camera that has f/2.0 aperture, 88 degrees ultra-wide angle that allows up to four people and more to be captured at once.
The 8S sports a 4-inch Super LCD display along with a dual-core 1GHz processor, 5MP camera and 4GB of internal storage.
Both devices will be available from November across 150 carriers in more than 50 countries.
