Apple has confirmed that their new iPad has sold more than 3 million units. The new tablet managed to achieve this feat in just three days after it went on sale on March 16 in 11 countries. The new iPad’s USP is its retina display that supports a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. Additionally, it is powered by Apple’s new A5X chip with quad-core graphics, 4G LTE support, 5MP camera and up to10 hours of battery life.
Apple will release the new iPad in 24 more countries on March 23.
