LG Electronics is heating up the Android market with its two new introductions that are not only affordable but also run the latest Android 2.3 OS. First up is the Optimus Pro (C660) which was leaked recently. The candybar phone sports a full QWERTY keyboard along with a 2.8-inch touchscreen display. Additionally, the phone runs on 800MHz processor and features 256MB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 3MP camera, A-GPS, FM radio and 1500mAh battery.
LG Optimus Net on the other hand, emphasizes on its social networking prowess. The phone comes with LG Social+ that allows users to place social network widgets right on the homescreen, giving an overview of updates from all your social feeds.
Although some core specs like an 800MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, 3MP autofocus camera, 3.2-inches HVGA display, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, FM Radio, microsSD card slot and 1500mAh battery will remain constant, LG will sell Optimus Net in different variants.
For some European operators, the phone will be equipped with NFC for mobile payments. As for North America it will come with a QWERTY keyboard whereas Brazil, China, Asia and the CIS region will get the dual-SIM variant.
