If you’re using a Samsung Galaxy S device locked to a particular network, modders from XDAdevelopers have found a way to unlock the device and break you from the shackles of your current operator.
The tool is said to work for European Galaxy S and US-based Galaxy S devices like T-Mobile’s Vibrant and AT&T’s Captivate that manages to extract unlock codes from the .BAK file stored on the device.
The procedure is simple and good thing is that you don’t need to root the device to perform the unlock.
