HTC Legend gets a software update (no, it’s not Froyo)

HTC’s unibody Legend Android phone has got a minor software update. The update v2.05.720.1 is about 24MB and promises to improve data connection stability and fix loss of ringtone for incoming call. Other things we noticed is that the update takes Legend from Android 2.1 to Android 2.1-update1 and has an updated baseband and kernel.
The update is available over-the-air and users should receive a notification. However, if you want it right away, you can go to settings and manually check for an update.
