LG Panther’s existence is not surprising for anyone who’s been tracking Windows Phone 7 phones development for a while. In fact, it was the first device pictured running Windows Phone 7 and now it has landed in hands of UK journos who’ve been snapping this nearly-finished prototype. ElectricPig who got their hands on the device claims the phone “felt like a finished product” due to the “sturdy sliding mechanism and decent landscape keyboard”.
The site also mentioned about the OS powering this beast. They say Windows Phone 7 has progressed by “leaps and bounds” and that a Microsoft exec uses this prototype as a personal handset for daily use.
Other things mentioned are an evidently improved display, interactive homescreen and decent Office support.
