Apple has found an issue in its iPhone 6S and 6S Plus devices manufactured between October 2018 and August 2019. Certain devices manufactured in this period may fail to power on due to a component failure. If you own any of the two devices and have faced this issue, you can contact Apple support or visit the Apple authorised service center to get your device fixed. Apple is offering this service free.

Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider to have your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus serviced. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program.If you have questions or need further assistance, please contact Apple Support.
Before service, backup your iPhone to iTunes or iCloud. Learn more about preparing your iPhone for service.
If your iPhone has any damage which impairs the ability to complete the repair, such as a cracked screen, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the service. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the additional repair.
Additional Information
Apple may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase.If you believe your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus was affected by this issue, and you paid to repair your device, you can contact Apple about a refund.
This worldwide Apple program doesn’t extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
The program covers affected iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices for 2 years after the first retail sale of the unit.
